For RBTs
Off-duty work for RBTs — your weekends, your terms
If you're an RBT in the Treasure Valley, you already do harder work than 90% of the sitters families can find. We pay you to be the person you already are on a Saturday night — minus the documentation, minus the supervisor, minus the productivity metrics.
The deal is simple: $25 an hour, your hours, your bookings.
The day-job reality
- • Idaho RBT W-2 wages average $18 to $20 an hour for billable time.
- • Billable time is not all your time. Drive time, prep, and documentation are often unpaid or partially paid.
- • Productivity quotas, BCBA-supervised sessions, and session notes are part of the day. Reasonable, but tiring.
Why a few off-duty hours work
- • A few hours on a weekend at a real $25/hour adds up faster than you'd think.
- • You already understand kids like the ones we serve. The skill is built in.
- • Families pay a premium for someone who doesn't need an orientation. That premium is yours.
What's different from your day job
- • You're sitting, not running a behavior plan. No professional services, no documentation, no session notes.
- • If a kid has a hard moment, you're allowed to be a person about it. Co-regulate, redirect, call the parent. That's it.
- • Your day-job employer is not involved. Your professional credential is a badge on your profile, not a working role.
Pay
$25/hour, flat
$25/hour flat across all credentials and all booking types. No tiering, no "holiday rate," no penalty for shorter bookings (2-hour minimum).
Common questions
- Will this conflict with my W-2 job's non-compete?
- We're not delivering professional services. You're sitting, not running a behavior plan. That distinction matters legally and matters in your ToS with us. Most agency contracts don't restrict unrelated off-duty work — but read yours before applying, and we'll help if you have a question.
- Can I list my BCBA-supervised hours?
- No. Bookings through us don't count toward BCBA supervision hours and we'd flag a sitter who tried to claim them.
- How fast do I get paid?
- $25/hour deposited via Stripe. New sitters on T+7 business days. After 10 bookings with 4.5★+ and no incidents, you move to T+3. After 50 bookings with 4.8★+, you get T+1 — or instant for a $2 fee.
